Quality Accommodation and Wedding Location in Beautiful Highland  Perthshire

For many years now the Austin 7’s Club have based their Angus Glens Run at Glenfernate for the May bank holiday.  The terrain on the Estate provides some challenging obstacles for these gutsy little vintage cars to traverse, also for the drivers!

This year they fulfilled one of their ambitions to drive out to Loch Loch!  Eight miles of rocky terrain, a challenge for 4X4’s let alone a vintage car!  Five of the cars made it right to the loch side. The twelve miles to Fealar: - A dawdle compared to it!!

One of the couples that come regularly for this weekend got married at Glenfernate.,

Glenfernate Events...... A Challenging Experience

The NSA Scotland invited Neil Parish, Chairman of the European Parliament’s Agricultural Committee, along with MP’s, MSP’s, MEP’s and other interested parties from the farming community to Glenfernate to show them just how unworkable the proposed EU legislation for individual electronic identification (EID) of sheep is on an upland farm. They were shown round the estate by the owner David Heathcoat Amory  and the Farm Manager John MacLellan.

Glenfernate has also been host to various Corporate Meetings and for Staff training purposes
